Here's Episode 13 of "Equipment Garage Gurus ."  Today Jade talks about how to protect your landscape and hardscapes throughout the winter

Protect Your Landscape Transcript

Are you worried about your landscape and hardscapes this winter?  We've got some great advice to help you protect your investment at EquipmentGarage.com

If you use decorative stone or brick in your patios and walkways consider using a snow blower that fits polyethylene skid shoes, which are less abrasive than metal skid shoes and won't leave rust streaks in your masonry.  Although flowers and other garden plants will have been taken care of before the snow falls, remember than your trees need some attention, too.  Consider using commercial tree wrap or other fabrics to protect your trees from snow, ice, and animals.  If you do have loose branches that are being weighed down by snow, use caution when shaking them off so they don't break.  Frozen plants are very fragile and will break very easily.
