Meet our newest Guru, Nikki!  Today Nikki talks about the importance of keeping your fuel fresh.

Keep Your Fuel Fresh Transcript

Did you know fuel has an expiration date?  Fuel these days is oxygenated to help it burn more efficiently and cut down on pollution, but this can cause fuel to break down in as little as a month.  For that reason, fuel should not be kept in small engines or even storage containers for longer than 30 days.  Old fuel can easily gum up your carburetor because the passages are so small, so instead of keeping a large container of fuel in your shop, it's best to purchase smaller quantities more often.
