Here's Episode 4 of "Equipment Garage Gurus ."  Today Jade talks about basic maintenance you should do on your snow blower.

Snow Blower Maintenance Transcript

Did you know snow blowers require much more maintenance than, say, a lawn mower?  Snow blowers operate in harsh environments, so there are parts that need to be lubricated, and the consumable parts should be replaced as they get worn from use.  In addition, snow blowers (especially 2 stage snow blowers) have components that need to be adjusted to operate correctly.  A professional mechanic can adjust your blower for you during your pre-season tune-up, but remember to schedule that appointment early so you don't get caught in a blizzard waiting for a last minute tune-up.  You can, of course, do adjustments at home, so be sure to check your owner's manual.
